Help for children in Cambodia e.V.

Cambodia, a country with perhaps the greatest cultural treasures of the world – the temples of Angkor Wat – is very attractive to thousands of tourists. Nevertheless, only a few kilometres from this famous tourist attraction one finds great poverty and a low level of education in the greater part of the population.

“Help for Children in Cambodia e.V.” supports the construction of secondary schools and helps with practical educational teaching and training to help to

• overcome and break the cycle of hunger, misery and ignorance,
• that all people can participate in the economic boom from tourism and
• can lead independently a decent and happy life.

A good knowledge of the English language and computer skills are absolutely necessary requirements and skills for future qualification in education in such developing and striving countries like Cambodia. Due to this reason we supported the secondary school in Peak Sneng with five laptops and a printer for the coming school-term. We are very pleased to make a small but important contribution and give these young people a decent and worthy future.
